Upcoming Events in Fourth Grade
AAPPL Test
Date: December 10th
Time: Horse (8:50-9:45, 10:10-11:30)
Oxen(11:40-12:00, 12:40-2:30)
This is a state level Chinese test, and it takes around two hours to complete. Please don't check your kids out during the test.
Holiday Party
Date: December 20th
Time:11:00-12:00
We need volunteers and supplies.
Please contact room coordinators for more information.
Holiday Break
Date: December 23rd-January 3rd

End of the Term
Date: January 10th
Keep in mind the end of the term comes really fast after the holiday break. If you have questions about grades please ask before we leave for the break.

Language Arts
Spelling
This month we are moving on to Unit 4 of spelling. The lists are attached on the English documents page. Each Monday students will bring home a list of words that is appropriate for their current spelling level. Spelling tests are given every Friday.
December 2-6: Unit 4 Week 1

December 16-20: Unit 4 Week 3
Reading
Continue having students read 20 minutes every day!
Math
This month we are beginning our patterns unit.
Parents, please continue to review your multiplication and division facts with your child.

We will focus on soil unit. We will learn about basic components of soil, and relate it to plant growth.
